I initially wrote a less favorable review due to two negative experiences with one doctor, because she was curt and unpleasant. However, I want to acknowledge that the reception staff and nurses have always been friendly and professional. After today’s visit with another doctor, he was very kind, professional, and helpful, I decided to update my review. One should not judge the entire clinic based on a single negative experience.

Poor set you up in getting an appointment, To do this you have to go online and fill in forms so anyone can get another persons information and private details to pretend to the registered patient.
So easily done, poor security.
Oh and Good Luck Ever meeting a G.P Face to Face they love to increase social isolation!

The few nurses that I have seen were fantastic, but everything else was awful. The management appears shaky, you don’t get results without begging for them, and the tone of the consultant can lack compassion whilst coming across as very dismissive. I’m weary when booking appointments (if I can even get them), so I’m grateful to be moving to another GP surgery.

my dad would of possibly still been alive if it wasnt for doctors keep diagnosing my dad with food poisoning 4 appointments he had and every one food poisoning or nut allergy. and it wasnt until dr suri (female) acted it was found out he had cancer. but by the time they found it it was stage 3 and eventually went to stage 4. something i suspect could of been caught in time if doctors knew how to diagnose properly. and about myself ive been left in limbo i had blood results done a last year around oct - november and till this day i still dont know the results because they never phone back. i am trying to get my back sorted and shortness of breath but guess what theirs never no appointments u have to make an appointment within a split second via the online portal before it blocks making appointments before it says that they are full for the day. im not being funny but their aint that many ill people in birchills area unless they are seeing the same people every day. my 4 month old boy was diagnosed as having nothing wrong with him even though he was struggling to breath and kept coughing really bad. so we took him to out of hours and they said he had bronchitis and that it was a good job we took him up. shocking service tbh

The nurse Kim is absolutely amazing. She has been golden with my son after his operation. His after care has been fantastic. She is pleasant and always chats to my son and makes sure he is ok. I would highly recommend this surgery as the Dr's here are also amazing.

I joined this surgery on the 15th of August 2023. It’s been a year and I’ve never seen a GP face to face. Just over the phone or text messages. It is so terrible. You can book an appointment at 8am, but unfortunately there is no guarantee that your medical request will be dealt with that day. I’ve never saw a doctor face to face at this practice No wonder more and more people have to go to urgent care. You’re not exactly easing the pressure off the hospitals.
For this reason I will be leaving this practice. There’s so much I could say about my families previous experience with a particular GP (medical negligence) at this practice. My father had to be hospitalised due to the negligence of one of the GPs at this practice.
