Drove from Scotland to purchase a 320d from Otter Motors, as a car enthusiast I have dealt with many garages and salesmen through the years but I was immediately impressed with the attention to detail and meticulous nature of the comms from Kristian @ Otters.

As we obviously couldn't just pop round and see the car but Kristian sent very detailed videos where literally each panel of the car was gone over and every single detail of any damage was pointed out. This is largely why I was willing to travel over 500 miles there and back (didn't walk).

Upon arrival the car was exactly as described, the small issues that had been highlighted by the garage were already resolved and the car was beautifully valeted.

Unfortunately we did hit a slight issue in that while power washing the engine (something I am usually suspicious of) they damaged the rocker cover breather hose. This wouldn't normally be a significant issue however with over 500miles ahead and being an Easter weekend we couldn't have this fixed easily. When I suggested scavenging the required part from another 20d this was immediately accepted by Kristian and he tried to get a nearby garage to do this. Unfortunately again being Easter Saturday they weren't available, thankfully I was capable of doing the swap, after some fiddling with the help of Kristian we got the hose swapped and drove away happy.

Very highly recommended, if I wasn't completely comfortable I wouldn't have travelled 200 miles never mind over 500. Kristian was a pleasure to deal with. I wish there was a garage of Otter Motors calibre nearer!

Otter Motors went over and beyond customer service when I bought my mini countryman. They brought the car to me on a low loader free of charge which was excellent as I lived so far away. When I had to access my warranty with them, they were fantastic and so helpful. Could not fault their service and would have no hesitation in recommending their cars and warranty.
