Limited and basic NHS dental service offered with a private service charge. Seems the only solution for problem or missing teeth is dentures. After visiting on my last check up with a fractured front tooth and a cracked tooth I was told to leave it alone, I paid £65 for that information. I found this as very poor communication and uninterested in any treatment that involves actual dentistry skills other than quick 5 minute checkup and a quick filling seems to be limit of service provided. This is not private practice service.

I was in holiday, and they kindly squeezed me in for an emergency extraction after antibiotics failed to fix the issue. The receptionist, and expecially dentist and her dental nurse were fantastic, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Been with the practice for a few years. Always been happy with everything. Today, day before good Friday. I called to see if I can get an emergency appointment as the pain I've had for a few days got unbearable, couldn't imagine this over Easter holidays. Told to come in but would have to wait for a spare spot between appointments. Within half an hour been seen. Wisdom tooth was wobbling. Expected to have to make an appointment for the extraction. But tooth was pulled straight away. Could not be happier with Liz and all the staff. I would ignore all the bad comments. Great dental practice

I’ve been going to Liz @ penclawdd for years and I couldn’t recommend her and her practice highly enough. When I had cancer 4 years ago and had concerns she was so kind and reassuring - and saw me at the very last minute or out my mind at rest. She’s so competent and also good fun - I can’t believe the work she has done on my teeth and never hurt me. A few weeks ago I decided to have all my crowns and veneers replaced and I’d been considering going to Turkey but after sage advice from Liz I decided to have it done by her and I was shocked that not only was the price not very different from Turkey prices but the result she had achieved is amazing. My teeth are straight and white and look perfect but not like the false lookig Turkey teeth, much better I think. Everything went as planned and no pain, great price and we had a laugh along the way. For some reason my Google review is coming up under my dads name, my name is Laura Pearce (leaving the review)

I saw Elizabeth over a year ago and she was amazing. Such a lovely dentist she has also seen my children and made them feel as ease. She made us laugh by saying my older son needs to stop brushing his teeth with the wrong end of the toothbrush 🤣🤣 i have had some terrible experiences with dentist's before but can honestly say this lovely lady was brilliant. Randomly writing this review nkw because my partner just been back to dentist but seen a different one.

I had emergency work done at this practice today, the dentist and all staff were excellent, I am petrified of dentists, this experience was fantastic, great job done and I can't praise them enough.

If I could leave less than one star, I would.
About 5 years ago, my husband needed an emergency appointment to have a couple teeth removed. The dentist made a remark that the whole tooth hadn’t been removed and he’ll need to come back in the future to have the rest removed. He had just been made redundant so money was tight and as a result, he fell into arrears in paying the bill, but none the less, the bill was eventually paid in full.
5 years later, the tooth that should have been removed in full is again giving him problems and has become infected and his face is swollen and he’s in pain.
When he rang to arrange an emergency appointment, they basically didn’t wanna know due to the arrears from 5 years ago. He explained we’re in a different financial situation and can pay in full up front but again, they didn’t wanna know. When he asked if there’s anything they could do, or any way he could be seen by another practice, again, they didn’t wanna know.
I love how they left a person in pain and swollen just because of a mistake made over 5 years ago. Profit over people. Disgusting. He’s now on the phone to 111 and waiting to get an appointment somewhere else.

Lovely staff. Quick and easy tooth extraction. Very quick appointments. Other dentist surgery makes you wait months. I signed up here last week and had 2 appointments very quick and another 2 in the next week. Awesome. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️
