If you love hunting for bargains and uncovering hidden treasures, Polmadie Car Boot Sale is the place to be! I visited recently and was blown away by the variety of items on offer. From vintage finds and second-hand clothes to household essentials and unique trinkets, there’s something for everyone here.

The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with friendly sellers who were happy to chat and negotiate prices. It’s clear that many people come here regularly, as it has a real community feel. The food stalls were a nice touch, offering snacks and drinks to keep you going while you browse.

What I appreciated most was how well-organized the sale was, with plenty of parking available and clear pathways between stalls. I’d recommend arriving early to snag the best deals, as the popular items tend to go quickly.

Overall, Polmadie Car Boot Sale is a fantastic spot for a weekend outing. Whether you’re buying, selling, or just exploring, it’s a fun and rewarding experience. I’ll definitely be back!

If you’re planning to sell from your car boot or book a table here, it’s honestly not worth it unless you’re one of the first ten cars to arrive.

We joined the queue at 4am and were 11th in line, but by the time we got to the door, we were told there were no spaces left. It’s a real shame, as there were at least 20 cars behind us with boots full of items ready to sell.

The main issue seems to be that a lot of the available space is taken up by cars using two stalls, along with the regular stallholders who occupy a large area.

To be honest, the permanent stalls could do with a rethink. Many of them look cluttered, hard to access, and very stagnant, often displaying the same items week after week with little sign of having made any sales.

If the organisers opened it up just for car boot sellers, I think they’d see a much better turnover of fresh stock and attract more sellers.

Even if they just got their permanent stall holders to tidy up their displays and reduce their floor space slightly, they would open up so much more floor space.

Its a real shame. So much potential yet its being wasted.

Went today , tried to have a chat with Paul love , old friend going back many many years went to his wedding married carolanne, he has been promoted now running the Boot sale with his new partner mandy and her son , couldn't believe his attitude was like he never knew me , couldn't get my head round it, he has become very arrogant and seemed a totally different person from a few months back the Boot sale has went down hill to much dead wood how it's making money is a mystery seen people come in selling bikes other stuff no stall seems a mess .

Nice market to buy second hand items for a bargain price but when I came here for the first time, everything was in a mess especially in the front of the warehouse but the back is alright. I found some great stuff here for a reasonable price though so that’s a plus.

Well Polmadie car boot sales you seem to pick and choose which reviews you reply to.
Why don't you reply to a serious issue you have with keeping people in your bootsale who have had lovely morning and just want to get home im elderly i like to do car boot sales but Polmadie is the only one that won't let you out and you think it's OK now that if you are told on the way in that you are in till whatever time he said I just agreed and a staff member walks in front of your car moving shoppers out the way the car goes slow at walking pace no problem you are in ive been on the go since 4.30am.As my previous review said I had a lovely morning at the bootsale I was selling old tools by 10am I was almost sold out when a chap offered to buy what I had left great but there is a problem when I approached a staff member with my request for safety assistance to leave the same way I was guided in.The guy said you need to stay until 12 and what if I do leave without your safety assistance he said we've got your registration number and you will be barred.
Why don't you advertise that Polmadie let people know they're not getting out even if you've sold out at 8or9 your captured you cannot legally do this but then you won't be answering this review maybe you don't understand what im saying I know really don't care about people it's all about the numbers..What I had to do was shocking I had to drive out using my voice to warn people while people stood around with yellow vests on all praying for an accident not one helped the only approach was once they realised I had managed to get out one of your doormen kindly told me I was barred. Barred for having a lovely morning until Polmadie started their kidnapping routine.
Polmadie you need to let people come and go this is a free country you cant keep people in your building who are finished.You should stop letting cars in full stop if they cant drive out when they want.
People have families they might be a family emergency or even a death but your cold staff will stand and watch no assistance terrible

I don't have lots of pictures but the place is amazing, stunning. People are sooo nice and kind. You can find there absolutely everything, lots of vintage stuff, new stuff, clothes shoes ect. Now that is one and only place where i buying. Prices is very low. Last time i spend 28 £ and i cary 8 cary bags heavy to manage. I can't feel my hands when arrive home but so happy as i bought nike trainers , lots of porcelain blue porcelain stuff, vinyl player , beautiful zara knited vase new with tag , vintage crystal, sweets ,tea ,coffee , wall hanging shelves, fox scarf , candle holder , books and hair clip.
Now even charity shops ore sooo expensive for me. I love it ,i love it. I will continue my adventure every Wednesday, as Saturday and Sunday i stock home with kids . If you thinking about it just go ,you will love it im sure you. I show you on the pictures some of my treasure which i find there.
Im glad and very happy that i find polmadie car boots sale .
