Lovely, quaint seaside village. Worth a visit for an afternoon or an evening. The lobster and crab from ‘Dan dan the lobster man’ is worth a lunch trip (sells out fast so don’t wait till 5pm!) the beach is up behind the church, it’s pebbled but beautiful.

Lovely harbour market. Very friendly stall holders. We always visit the Porthleven gin stall and purchase a bottle, which usually lasts until we visit again the following year. Highly recommended

Some wonderful stalls, and some not so wonderful and overpriced. Always friendly. There are stalls scattered about, including the shipyard and harbour head. The lady selling heritage veg, and the kind lady who sells succulents are businesses both worth the journey alone. Shopping by the sea is always good. Recommended
