This company was recommended to us by our estate agent (house clearing is not an unusual situation for them and locals do know best). This was after an astronomical quote from the first company we found on the internet.

The first company gave one overall quote, from requested videos, for the house clearance without any garden clear up. Meanwhile Lesley (at PC&CS) first gave a ballpark quote, then personally went into the property and quoted accurately. This was considerably more competitive and included money back for recyclable items.

In the end there were 19 separate lines of detail on the quote, so if, for example, we didn't want the outside jet washed, the house deep cleaned afterwards or could sort the stairlift separately, those items could be left off.

It just felt so much more professional from the start.

Then we got the personal touch: An update and a series of daily photographs each evening to show progress. We know that there was a team of four people full time on this for just over a week and Friday evening's update came in after 7pm.

They committed to, and then did, a great job. It's a stunning transformation, we absolutely cannot recommend them highly enough.
