Quite a bizarre experience as I thought I’d rang Middleton skip hire , I thought it quite strange as when describing the skip it was quite difficult for the receiver to grasp what I wanted so I referred the receiver to their (Middleton’s )web page and explained it was the one pictured in the top left hand corner , he disappeared for a while came back and said he couldn’t find that picture , again I should have suspected something there but the guy went on to describe it as if he’d finally grasped what I was after , however when the skip arrived which I might add was after 4pm I’d left site and my client took receipt of the skip oblivious of what was required .
When I returned in the morning it was then discovered that Middleton hadn’t dropped off the skip but Redmondis , at first I thought that they had sub let it , only to discover this is something Middleton’s would never do.
I contacted Redmondis explained the situation and asked them to swop this skip for what I wanted , they explained they didn’t do that type of skip and as I didn’t want it they would charge me a delivery and pickup cost of £158 , extortionate , and once they had the skip back they would call me and refund the balance that day , they collected the skip at 12 noon , they didn’t contact me .
I rang on the Mon to be told that their accounts lady had gone on holiday and they couldn’t resolve the refund , which took another week to resolve .
Absolutely disgusting service , in fact it was none existent and their costs are very excessive they had no compromise whatsoever and I would advise anyone requiring a skip to give this company a big big miss !!! Couldn’t possibly give any star rating !
