We've been here previously and managed to find some good bargains and were served by very friendly male staff. However, today we were very disappointed as the woman that was serving overpriced an item we wanted to buy and was very rude when we decided not to purchase due to this. It has certainly put us off from going again. It's their loss. I value places like this but admittedly, a good portion is really not fit for resale or re-use, which is a shame as the amount of clutter hides the things more worth rescuing.

Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Some very nice stuff there as well; toys, books, furniture, tools, clothes. By purchasing from here you're recycling as well. We've bought many things for ourselves and others. Well worth a look.

Recycling at its finest, friendly staff, fair pricing and a great rummage! Bargains to be had, and not just stuff, this is stuff you want and can use. Help save the planet and its valuable resources by considering pre loved, hardware to clothing, tools to dog beds and of course, books and DVDs.

Simple Clarity

The only fair pricing here is given to the men who run this establishment. I have alot of respect for them. They price fairly and have a very positive vibe. They are smiling and vibrant when serving customers.
The women overcharge and the vibe is negative. Depressing mood and not warm towards customers - at all. Their pricing feels like daytime robbery and there is no care in how they price items and the delivery of goods to the customer. I have a toddler and they charged me an extortionate price for some used second hand toys and books.
Do not go here. It's a waste of time and most of all - well earnt money.

Always had great experiences purchasing from here. Found everyone to be very helpful and friendly and some real treasures to be found. Yes the prices often seem thought up on the spot but never felt like I’ve been ripped off and wander round at least once a month.

The place used to be such fun to get bargains and also the people were very friendly but the past six months it has been very unwelcoming, only especially from a lady that seems to run it some days: Jill?: my grandson was extremely shaken when a toy we wanted (the price of around £1 was then £3) and that lady did not care as he cried all the way because we reasonably did thing that was way too high as the toy was of low quality and partly damaged.

Having done Law five years and being known to be an altruist in mind, I think that this awful situation should not have been created by her and this is not the first time she has been rude. RIO used to be a great place, but lately, since March 2021, prices have been quite high and, it is very rare that you get any receipts. As some friends just pointed out to me, they are a charity. Why have they not been empathic to people that try to survive by going to their place and buy reasonable priced items, especially in those Covid 19 times. Again, aren't they supposed to be a charity?

I often enjoy browsing through this recycling yard during my lunch breaks. I frequently leave with an assortment of useful and quality items, bought at a bargain price. Really friendly and helpful staff. The most fun form of retail therapy and very easy on the pocket! Excellent.
