I attended Rossington Recycling centre today. I usually attend this site as I feel it has a very relaxed approach but friendly atmosphere. You can actually speak to the staff here as oppose to another large premises open until 7pm. The lads are always willing to lend a hand if you have something heavy and are not all over you like a rash when you first enter. They offer advice if it can be recycled and what to do if it can’t be recycled. I came in with my trailer and the lads were happy to help unload etc. I’ve seen the same bloke on many occasion and he’s always happy to have a chin wag and pass time of day. I found out today that he’s called Andy. He’s a credit to this site … top man and top marks from me 👍

I recently had a trip to Rossington tip with some rubbish after Christmas and Andy couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, advising me what rubbish went where, he is an absolute asset to your team! He brightened up my boring job to do with his smile!

I have just moved to the area by myself and was advised this was the best centre to go to. I’ve been today and the 2 guys working (I believe Andy and Alan) were so helpful. As I’ve not been before I didn’t know where everything went but they explained it all and helped me. Made the process really easy

Arrived with a car load of rubbish at 6.30pm on Sunday, Tip doesn't close till 7pm. A Staff member called Simon who didn't have the friendliest approach told me were closed at 7pm. I said I'll well have it done mate, to which he said ,good because it's the end of the day.
I said are you serious and he said yes. I was with the Mrs so thought it best to leave it there. Felt like he was looking for an argument, I just left it there. Anyway we left the tip at 16.35pm.
I gave a star for the other staff member who apologised for Simons attitude.

All the staff are good but going to the tip has felt a lot less mundane recently as a member of staff called Andy really brightens up your day, such a lovely man and asks for nothing in return. Although I've heard he is partial to biscuits now and then.
