Three out of the last four months I haven’t received a text confirmation for my prescription. When queried on it, I was assured I’d been sent a text through their system. No text received. When tried there and then a text came through. There’s either an issue with the text system or the people supposed to be issuing the texts. No one answering the phones (I’ve been trying to call for three days - three days I’ve been without medication) so I couldn’t even check if they had my prescription either.

I’ve used Rowlands in Tarleton for as long as I can remember now but almost 7yrs ago I had a serious RTA which left me disabled and needing to take quite a lot of medication daily so I’ve used them every month since then. I don’t have family living in the village so I generally have my prescription delivered by Gerry who is so kind and brightens my day. Anyway I made a huge mistake this month, when I went to order my prescription on the my gp app 2 online pharmacy delivery services popped up, one said something like 2-3 days for your medication and it had good reviews so I thought I’d give it a go. How wrong was I! The only easy thing was signing up to it, then for a week of stress and one problem after another, they’d email me but the only way I could actually contact them was via social media messenger! I tried emailing back to be told the email box wasn’t open. I’m sorry I’m rambling on but to get to the point I didn’t get my medication and had run out of one of my pain medications yesterday, I can’t thank Rowlands enough for coming to the rescue and helping me, I rang them and explained what I’d done and luckily they had the pain medication in stock and delivered it for me yesterday. I won’t be using online service again that’s for sure! Thank you so much to the team at Tarleton Rowlands!
