If you love sitting in traffic then this is the tip for you. Expect 20-30 minutes of creeping along bumper to bumper after you get onto the site. Oh, and there's no way to turn around or get back out - once you enter, you're in it for the long haul. Apart from that it was pretty good though, the staff seemed nice and helpful.

There is roughly one parking spot for every 2 waste skips, which can't be helping the traffic. There's plenty of space for double that many parking spots (and therefore double the throughput) if they were laid out more sensibly, but I'm sure the council knows best.....

I took my minibus in today with permission from my boss. My parents had helped me take my 2 sofas apart. A lovely young man (i later found out his name is Bailey) helped me and my parents get all the sofa bits out and put them into the skips for us.
Very helpful and polite young man. Xx

Great place not complaining, as it does the job, however a blonde woman working there should get some training in customer service, but the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly

I thought a bit daft to review a tidy tip but I thought I'd mention Rushden's as its a really good one !
Very well organised system of bays you back into and helpful staff , we always get there early to beat any queuing 🙂

Even though I live in Wellingborough, I always travel to Rushden recycling centre, it is very well organised, the guys clearly show you where empty park bays are, and even though often queue of cars to get in, this moves fairly quickly.

Have to say this is the best recycling centre I have been to….. Dave & Nathaniel were absolute stars and I turned around and my car was empty…… Excellent service - thank you
