This is the first time ive used S&G Cars. Great experience. They were always very informative about any repairs that were needed before proceeding. Pricing seemed perfectly reasonable for the parts and time they spent working on my car. Much better experience that the previous garage i had been using.

Bought a Peugeot 107 from S and G as I wanted a small car for my son to learn to drive in and to have for myself.It had a couple of issues which Sean had pointed out.The electric window motor was fixed and a water leak from rain water was also fixed but had after a while began leaking again.Sean took the car back no question s asked and remedied .The car is now fine.I recommend this company.They are pleasant,honest and reliable.
Hope to deal with again in the future.

Its taken me some time to come to write this review,,, and the only reason for doing so is that i don't want anyone to have to experience what i did. ..this is not the place you want to go for a diagnostic. took my car in with EML, and spongy clutch.. after handing of a fist full of cash the drove ok for 24 hours..
returned my car due to the issues and was told it was the engine.. they could have told me this 2 day prior but they wouldn't have made a penny.. either that or they know nothing about cars and how they work. !!

Drive to St Ives or Ely there has to me a decent honest mechanic there.

sum up. stay well clear.. they are robbers..

I got my service done here. It's always hard to know whether you are getting ripped off sometimes but the base price of a service is good.
However the engine cover was not replaced properly on my car. Also claimed battery died over night and new one was pricey but a good spec.
Jury still out as to if I got value for money. It's hard to trust any new garage these days but the car did run much better after the service and replacement of a coil pack.

Purchased a car from here in July and I love it. I dealt with nick and Jamie who were both an absolute pleasure to deal with. The deal itself was easy, comfortable and straight forward. As for the aftercare. It was absolutely outstanding. Fantastic communication and went leaps and bounds out of their way to accommodate me and my time schedule. After some consideration I have finally decided to write this review, we traveled 39 miles to see the car we wished to buy, while there nice and friendly, however their value of their customers once money was handed over was disappointing and didn’t really care after that .. no offer of warranty if the cars was faulty .. when serviced else where BIG problems were shown .. no service complete when it says on their website which I have screenshots of that service will be completed with MOT and valeting. We only had one key provided which is fine but felt like they should tell you of this. As a first time car buyer I felt rather disgusted how much of an advantage they took, since buying the car we’ve had to pay out over 600 pounds worth of work which they should of picked up but couldn’t be bothered to do obviously and we paid for the asking price too though they did deliver for free .. after paying a big sum for the car out right. Luckily my family and my new born child was safe after we serviced it else where. I then contacted the company to be told all our problems were not theirs (thought they should of serviced it) so for this DO NOT BUY from them.
