Bought some pva glue. Punched in a code from an electonic magazine in store. It was clearly shown in stock. Paid at the desk after account confirmed. Order online for pickup or if you're lucky there will be a stock in store or be directed to another local store. Relatively small and reasonable carpark which always has spaces. Great and helpful staff. Quick service. In case you have been living on the moon, this is B & Q from a magazine for trade and normal customers. A more serious DIY shop, or for construction trade/pros. For the very basic and less serious requirements, there is a cheaper option in "the Range" across the road in the retail park which is just a dreadful place.

Great products at reasonable prices. Staff members are really kind and very helpful.
Use the app to buy online, go to the shop and in the carpark open the app, find your orders and press the collect button. Go into the shop and walk out 30 seconds later with your purchase. Very easy to use 👍

same I can't say the same for call centre.
3 times lost out on two good job's Very bad call centre. Take you're cash and when faulty goods.
Thay give you lies and the run around
Had to ask at the call centre to speak to a manager. Just to get my cash back .
Told 7 day's took them 1min to take cash .
Trying to give me give vouchers to spend in their shop only 🤔 I have cancelled all orders
and told my workers not to purchases from SCREWFIX.

I abandoned Amzon.com as I found Screwfix: offering stock of full range of DIY along with other non-food useful home spare parts and items. Competitive in pricing. Powerful product search tool. Convenient location including wide car park. Keen and customer oriented staff. Very user-friendly online as well as in-store shopping interface.

Dreadful customer service - won't be back. Ordered car shampoo which showed as in stock but eventually staff worked out they didn't have it and issued refund. I identified an alternative product but took ages for staff to locate. 20 minutes waiting in total for a very simple transaction. Not a hint of apology from arrogant and disinterested staff who really don't seem bothered or want to take any responsibility.
