What can I say, following a lovely night in Whitby we were ready for hitting the road home only to have an extremely flat tyre! A quick pump up and while deliberating on what to do (as phoning round nowhere had a tyre in stock) we came across Selly Hill. A polite ask and the tyre was swiftly checked, mended - as there was a sizeable chunk of metal in the tyre - put back on and we were off and on our way again. The team even took the car out to ensure it was safe for us to carry the onward journey in before handing it back. What was a stressful start to the morning soon became forgotten thanks to the efficiency of Selly Hill. Lovely team, we were even offered a coffee whilst we waited. 😃 Can’t recommend enough.

Terrible service!! Had my mums car in for its MOT, failed and told us it would be £660 for the repairs. Then had the car 3 WEEKS, all while booking other cars in and repairing them before my mums. False promises of ‘it’ll be done tomorrow’ or ‘he’ll work Saturday to get it done’, never happened. Absolute JOKE of a garage. Then had the NERVE to charge nearly £800. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

We were on holiday in Whitby and had broken down as we arrived! Ashley fitted me straight away and he and his wife were just brilliant and so helpful. He managed to fix my car without having to order parts which may not have arrived in time anyway. Absolutely amazing service, really efficient and couldn’t have been more accommodating, would highly recommend and if we lived in Whitby we would definitely go back. Saved our holiday!! And the car got us back home and is still going strong!!

Absolutely brilliant!! Hit debris last night on A66 and picked up wicked rattle, driving to friend’s in Whitby this morning and the rattle got worse. Pulled into the garage on the off chance he could see what’s going on. Ashley was brilliant, put the car over the pit, found the problem, assured us we were safe and spoke to the garage near mum’s and sorted out what was needed for a full repair when we got there. After worrying about the noise it was great to have a calm garage guy assure us all was ok. Thanks Ashley!

Lovely people. We got stuck on a hill nearby in our campervan while on holiday in Whitby, and needed a tow out as we were wheel spinning on a hill near a river. Unfortunately I didn't have the towing eye for my van.
The guys at Selly Hill garage were nearby, so I dropped by and the guy there very kindly dug a towing eye out of a van he was working on and lent me it. Nothing was too much for them, even though we weren't 'paying customers', which is a real rare thing these days. Never change guys 🙂

Contacted whilst on holiday, they fitted me at short notice and repaired the rear wheels brake pads. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, explained thoroughly what could be done. Reasonably priced. I was offered a lift back and to the garage whilst the repair was being done. So so brIlliant. Can’t recommend them enough. Excellent service.
