What on earth has happened to this once brilliant recycling centre? I'm appalled at the amount of good recyclable items being trashed into the skips there are many families who would make good use of this! Also to see elderly folk struggling up metal stairs with heavy objects whilst burly staff stand by and watch (through no fault of their own I hasten to add but because rules have changed so they are no longer allowed to help! Thank goodness for staff member Ryan who realised the gentleman was struggling and stepped in to lend a hand!) shocks me, then to listen to the abuse that staff are getting because they are restricted as to what they can and can't do or take is ridiculous! I don't know who is running this site North Devon Council but they are a joke! It's no wonder fly tipping is on the rise! Please look into this and return it to the lovely, helpful recycling centre it used to be and reduce things going to landfill
