Easy to access most times with minimal queues, although on busy sunny weekends there may be a longer wait. You will need ID with home address, such as photo card driving licence, which is checked at the entrance.
You can find waste disposal areas here for every domestic item, and they are clearly marked.
There are plenty of waste disposal staff members around if you are unsure about anything and they are only too pleased to assist.

I've been going to the tip for the last 40 years and today was the first day I've felt like I should leave a review! I was greeted at the gate this afternoon by a very pleasant young lady, once on site I reversed into my slot and opened my boot. Within seconds there were another two very pleasant young ladies who started taking my bags of garden rubbish out and emptying them. In all the years of visiting the tip I've never known that happen before! Well done to all the staff there and thank you.

Normally getting to this site is quite easy, but today there was a road closure and whilst there were diversion signs on the island on the Stafford road, there was nothing to say how one could get to the tip. Eventually I have up and went to the site off the Birmingham Road.

We have been having a bit of a clear out and went a few times last weekend and this weekend. The staff were all helpful and answered any queries we had about what could go where. As we work in the week we can only go at weekends and had a lot to do, so we were not looking forward to it tbh, but the staff were great, happy and smiling too, which made our trips that bit easier. 🙂

Staff here are very helpful. This morning I needed to dispose of my old wooden kitchen cabinets; three staff members were there to help me to unload as well as polite staff at the entrance telling me which number would be best to use to put timber into. Really first class service!

Closed just gone 4pm why ? This is when most people will be dumping after a day of clearing out ....its soon to be the longest day and light nights so why close so early? .
