This is a great recycling centre apart from the queues, which are totally unnecessary. If someone was directing people into parking spots it would greatly help, and 2 lanes into 1 makes it worse. Cars stop at the top and wait for a parking spot by the main bins, but really the other spaces are not that far away, this blocks the traffic behind.

Orange jacketed workers loudly discussing how 'we' aren't allowed to hang Union flags any more because it will offend Muslims who then 'throw bricks through your window '. Having driven through a flag bedecked Shepperton to use the facility I felt like challenging them but did not have the confidence. Thoroughly shaken and disgusted that they felt confident to talk like this near the Eco shop in front of the public.

Great helpful staff. You need to be a Surrey resident to use facilities. Proof of address needed first visit. Have a nice recycle shop on site. Bikes, garden tools, chairs bric a brac etc. Can get busy on a sunny weekend.

What a waste of time! The irony of watching thousands of people a day, stuck in 20-30 mins near-standstill traffic in their cars waiting to enter / park, to ‘recycle’ and responsibly dispose waste (instead of dumping it in the general waste at home to go off to landfill)! Burning probably a decent amount of fuel to do this. This site is pointless, way too small for the area it is supposed to cover / benefit.

It’s always a pleasure visiting this site - it’s kept clean and tidy and every member I’ve staff I’ve met has been extremely helpful. i love the little shop too (it has some great furniture) and the fact that they’re doing as much as they can to stop stuff being dumped as landfill. Weirdly, visiting the tip has become my new favourite place to go …
