I love visiting this place, it is a real hidden gem! Joe sources the most fabulous unique pieces, and the stock changes all the time! It is a feast for the eyes. I purchased my wonderful kitchen island from here, Joe rescued the piece and worked his magic on turning it into a stunning slate topped island, I absolutely adore it - everyone who comes into my house comments on it - I love knowing that is it a total one off. I will be back soon!

Genuinely helpful, we went in search of a porthole that opens, there were dime fantastic ones on display all polished up and I found have only been offered these as I hadn't spotted his box of older ones, the gentleman showed me to a box of portholes he'd recently acquired and said he'd not even had a chance to go through them yet, but to have a look if there was one that would work. I found the perfect working porthole that with some cleaning and TLC will do the job. He didn't have to do this and I'm so appreciative that I got the item I needed at a fraction of the cost. I was also told l the history of the item which will become a talking point in our home.

Completely ignored by owner, who actually sat in the way of us getting through to look at the stock. Quite a lot of pricey items, a lot of large pieces, very few smaller items, and a lot of very "well loved" bits of furniture.

Lots of interesting artefacts to look around, marine memorabilia and more. Definitely worth a look and barter for a bargain! Once you turn off the road, you need to turn in the gate as it was not well signposted. Great to peruse, would come back.

The gentleman at the desk was rude, unfriendly and sarcastic. He grabbed an item from my husband
who had asked very politely if there was any negotiation on the item. Clearly the man in question wasn't prepared to negotiate and that's fine but with this horrible attitude we as locals will not be returning ever again to this junkyard.
