Shortlands Rescue and Recovery were able to carry out an emergency recovery and a long drive back to London when my car broke down on the M3. Was able to nurse it to the A30 in Basingstoke and it was not possible to fix the car at the roadside. The driver was able to attend within 30 minutes of phoning and recovered us back to East London despite the insane traffic on the M25. It took over three hours and he was polite and professional and a huge help in a really quite stressful situation, even offering to stop at a services before we got too far from where we'd been collected. Hoping its not a service I will need often but I'd definitely use again.

My car broke down on the M40 on Sunday, on the way to an overnight stay and trip to Warwick Castle. My car wasn't driveable and we ended up having to pay for an extra nights stay as we were struggling to get home. Rang Shortlands and Steven (owner) couldn't have been more eager to help us get home. Super professional and sound guy. Couldn't fault the service in any way. He kept me up to date with timings throughout the day, amazing service. Would 100% recommend Shortlands to anyone. Hopefully I won't need it, but if I ever need recovery, I know exactly who to call.
