Pete and his team at SJP were absolutely brilliant. If you want to deal with a garage that oozes old fashioned helpfulness and goes above and beyond to help you get back on the road. They even stayed late to help. While I waited I watched 3 repeat customers come in without appointment and got seen to straight away, even though they closed at 5.30pm, was still there at 6.30pm. Really impressed with the level of service each time I've been here, definitely a step above others in terms of their diagnostic and repair ability, and friendliness/ability to explain things to non-mechanics. Pete at SJP is a decent bloke.
He has recently diagnosed and fixed a bizarre starting issue with my VW Touareg.
The fix proved to be absolutely correct but very awkward to carry out due to very limited access to the defective part.

Fantastic service! The team go out of their way to help you and are very helpful and honest. After having a problem with my car, they managed to quickly find the time to take a look and resolve this problem which I really appreciated. Very friendly and helpful team, given our short notice emergency, 2 burst tyres on drivers side, these guys were able to recover our vehicle, source replacement tyres the same day. They were honest enough to assess the damaged tyres and the undamaged tyres and keep my costs down to 2 tyres instead of the 4 I originally Thought I needed.

Fit the tyres, do a safety check and get us back on the road by 3pm the next day to allow us to complete our 100ish mile drive home without having to take extra time off.

They had an opportunity to rip me off completely but were true to their word and honest in their assessment of what was needed.
