Bad language! Bad language!Bad language!

I rang them to ask for car part.I asked few question about part and the person on phone was talking in very unproffesional manner with very bad language and he hang up call..I think they need a proffesional person to attend there calls who can speak nicely to make customer happy.Would not reccomend to anyone because of there bad behaviour.

They might have what you need (when it comes to older cars), but be prepared; the one guy's telephone manner can only be described as "obnoxious".

Also, you are expected to attend and leave a deposit for them to strip the parts you need, doesn't matter if you live a minute away, or in Glasgow.

The parts you leave a deposit for might not necessarily be stripped the same day either, so expect to make more than 1 trip to them.

You are also expected to attend and identify / confirm that the part they have is the correct part for your vehicle, again, doesn't matter where you live.

They can't show you photos to compare, and they can't accept photos from you to be compared against what they have in stock either.

Thank God they don't expect you to pay and strip the parts off yourselves, that's all that's actually left for them to start doing now......

Although the person I spoke to twice was abrupt on the phone and could have put me off attending..

Our visit on 5/3/22 couldn't have been better.

I managed to source the much sought after wing mirror for my Honda.

I want to say a BIG thank you to James, he was helpful, patient, polite, honest and respectful. A real asset to Slater Bros!

Good service, got the job done. Good price. Only 4 stars given as administrative process could be better and more structured. i.e. taking your phone number but not using it when they said they'd call when my item was available.

Bought a car from these guys. Told me the clutch was brand new as he has replaced it himself. The proceeding 2 months it kept slipping so I took it to my garage, as suspected the clutch wasn't new and was basically about to give up and at the end of its life. Not to mention the extra £20 that went missing when I bought the car from them.

Think the chap either got out the wrong side of the bed or was constipated.
A friend from a local garage recommended I try here for some tyres for my Auris.
Went in and spoke to a rude Muppet ... Walked straight out.
Time is precious ... Go elsewhere and save yours.
