We've had multiple Smith's skips as part of an extension. Martin who's the driver each time is very friendly and did very well squeezing between houses, cars and gate posts to pick up and drop off the skips. He took plenty of care to protect the drive too.

The service I’ve just received from Smith Skips has been outstanding. I was given very short notice to clear a house, a traumatic time with a deadline. Smith Skips customer service from the start to the end was amazing, friendly, helpful and honestly they did everything they could to somewhat ease my situation. Understanding the urgency the skip arrived the next day. The delivery man was very friendly and professional, advised me to break things down to maximise what I could get inside, if I needed anything to give them a call. I filled the skip and made contact to ask if possible to collect and hire another…. Wow again amazing customer service the skip was took and a new one dropped the next morning. I highly recommend this company from first contact, value for money, delivery, any questions to collection. I will absolutely be using again. Thank you.

Just billiant service. Fred, who dropped off the skip was initially sceptical that he could get the skip to the only place it could possibly be situated, on my neighbour's land (who'd agreed in advance), down a very tight access road. When he saw my shoulders slump in despair, he re-assessed the situation, suggested I get another neighbour to move their car, and waited patiently for 5 or so minutes whilst that was done. Daniel collected the skip today and was just as skillfull. Very impressive driving from 2 very friendly professionals. Customer Services, who handled the initial booking and subsequent phone calls regarding eta's, were great too. I highly recommend this company. I would employ their services again without any hesitation.

Used for 3 skips. Staff from person taking call to all 3 drivers wee superb. Would use again without hesitation. And recommend. Dean J

I ordered a skip online which was a simple process and delivered on the date requested. Unfortunately when the skip was collected after being filled, the driver drove over a man hole cover on the drive, which shattered leaving a dangerous hole and required a replacement. When I spoke to the driver after the incident he said he’d speak to the office and someone would call me to rectify the situation. I had not received any contact so called the office myself the following day where the woman I spoke to sniggered down the phone when I explained what had happened and said that they couldn’t do anything about it. After confirming that the driver had caused damage to my property and asking for this to be escalated, she said I’d receive a call from a manager. The manager called a day later and again tried to brush off any responsibility for the damage stating that it wasn’t their fault it had broke and would not fix the issue. Of course I was upset with this decision as it would cost me hundreds of pounds to fix the issue that I had not caused (more than the skip cost) so the manager said he would come back to me, which has not happened…. In conclusion, I am unimpressed by the rude service I received and the fact that they do not take responsibility/rectify damage that the drivers cause to personal property. I expect I’ll never receive a call back to sort the issue as it’s been two months since they last contacted me. I won’t be looking to use Smith Recycling in the future as it’ll cost me more in damages then the skip hire itself.
