10/10. Glen kindly collected the items one day before, so we don't have to spend the next day morning with loading. The lift was broken in the middle of move, so the team member kindly lifted upstairs manually. I am very happy with my relocation experience, and would highly recommend to other customers.

First class service from Glen and his team at South Durham Removals. The whole experience, from filling in the online form for the quote, to offloading in the new house, was a seamless experience. Hard working friendly team who went out of their way to make moving day as painless as possible. They worked without a break to make sure we got in, finally finishing at 7pm on a Friday night. Used South Durham Removals when moving house. Glenn was very helpful when discussing the process and what to expect on the day. The lads were great on the day, polite and friendly and a good laugh too! They worked quickly but also were careful with our belongings. Would definitely recommend and in the unlikely event we move again, I will be calling them!

These guys where absolutely amazing, from start to finish. They turned up on time and loaded all of our belongings without a hitch. They even went to the trouble of trying to start my husbands broken down car! On unloading, again couldn't of asked for more. They even took their shoes off on my new carpets and reassembled my beds. They all interacted with my 5 yr old son, which made my life so much easier. The price they charged was more than reasonable. So reasonable I felt it necessary to pay a little more, to show our appreciation. They where by far the cheapest quote, but even if they weren't I would book them again. Glen and his team (Shaq, Jed, John)were wonderful during the shifting process. Glen was readily available on the phone in days leading up to the move and even came a day before to leave some boxes at no extra cost. They were very time efficient, safe and kind. This team of guys were amazing for my house move.
Semi detached 3 bed into a 4 bed detached and boy did I have a lot of stuff to move.
My original company cancelled on me 3 days before I was due to move so I quickly search on Facebook to find other local companies. South Durham Removals were the first to reply and Glen gave me a ring to discuss the job.
He came out the next day to see the house for himself which I'm pleased he did as it's so hard trying to count all the boxes etc when the whole house is upside down.

On the day of the move 5 guys arrived with two vans. They were super friendly and definitely knew what they were doing. They worked so fast packing up the van and at the new house if they weren't sure where something went they asked every single time. They really were brilliant and I would definitely recommend using them, I just wish I'd booked them in the first place. I'd absolutely book them again but here's hoping I don't actually have to move again (for their sake aswell as mine!)

Recently helped my father move and South Durham Removals provided an excellent service from start to finish. Glen was brilliant throughout, offering a really good quote, and it was great to see they offer an OAP discount. The team on moving day were fantastic—friendly yet professional, and they were especially good with my dad, who is elderly and frail and was finding the moving process very stressful. Their patience and care made a real difference. Glen also showed flexibility when unexpected last-minute issues arose with my dad’s move. First class throughout - can't recommend them highly enough!
