Proper good people and have been a great help to us.never for one moment thought we would ever be clean of the gear as never thought we could be strong enough but stars and our key worker are amazing we owe them our lives as that’s what they have given us back. I have been with "STARS" currently known as the forward Trust Southend, for 7ish years now, the staff have been great and I got my script relatively quickly which was great, I am not currently involved in any groups etc for medical reasons, however there was (and possibly still is) A weekly meal made from Nandos chicken if I remember correctly and they did a lot of groups which can be helpful, I have to say I am extremely grateful to STARS for a. Helping me get rid of HepC and b.For constant help and support when I was homeless and would spend most of my weekdays there where I could eat (Various donations would come in daily) and use the computer or just have a coffee while my wet sleeping bag (from the rain sometimes) was hidden next to one of the heaters, I'm sorry for the rambling and maybe no one will read this but these guys (and the Basildon hospital Hepatology guys) deserve a massive thank you for what they have done(and are still doing) for me, and hopefully are doing for others like me.
