I went for a open day tour. It was full of rubbish, the explanations were all about garbage and I found it to be a trash experience. Overall I recommend it, it wasn't a waste of time and I could recycle a lot of dirty jokes during the visit.

Hate coming staff next to useless shovel drivers inadequate probably trained in the house and as for the Marshalls all they do is shout! Instead of coming over to you and they seem to think they are better than you, because they got a bit of authority worst place I've been to collect waste
So much for the Carbon footprint the amount of miles we take it recycling just on beg con I don't know of any companies that are in it to save the planet and not to make loads of money

I waited over 4 hours for my container to be loaded with waste paper it never happened so god knows how long i would of had to wait. The staff on the weighbridge are extremely rude. Drivers should be respected. At the end of the day you need them.

Fantastic open day information - one of the best waste management plants in Europe. Interesting to hear that none of Southwark's black bags go to landfill but are instead converted to bio-fuel. Very friendly and helpful staff!

After doing a bit of digging I found quite a lot of plastic dirt and as I understand it there veolia seem to be on board Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall did a good interview with you guys and and at the time the producers of plastic waste only have to pay 10% of the recycling fee which has to change there is no sustainability in place at the moment we cannot keep sending our waste to other countries when there is actually quite a lot of money in the recycled product so why not continue with the recycling 100% easier packaging to be recycled glass aluminium are two of the top materials we can use for vessels instead of plastic this is a lot more more financially better and financial incentives are given around and use of non plastic and 100% recyclable vessels keep up the good work and here are a few pictures of why plastic is a problem. As you can see by the pictures plastic bags and plastic containers are being caught up in a leaf drill at a Dorset Beauty Spot in Poole it managed to get into the local paper I am trying to give awareness on the situation yes I took out the plastic bags from the leaf grill but but everytime it rains it comes back more and more and more plastic if it wasn't for people volunteering to help I would not have got this done as we were working McDonald's plastic straws were flying through they seem to have stopped but the plastic still continues please help us figure this out as when it rains whatever plastic is on The Leaf grille gets smashed into a million pieces and sent out to the ocean it is a dirty little secret which I am hoping to unveil to the world I do like veolia they seem to be taking a positive stance on these horrendous issues keep up the good work very well done guys please take in in the photos that I am displaying
