Abysmal, arrived 10 minutes before closure as dictated on the signage at the site and was refused entry. Am now going to be left with wet rotting grass for days. Pay taxes, have done the right thing in bringing it to the tip and some jobsworth who wants to get off a couple of minutes early is on a power trip.

We have been there several times. Often with heavy things. The staff were absolutely amazing. Helpful. Friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant.

Both visits me and my sister made the staff were helpful and friendly. I am pregnant so can’t do any heavy lifting but the staff were always willing to help. Great guys!

When Spalding Household Waste and Recycling Centre works properly it is normally a pleasure to visit. They have recently accepted that it was necessary to reopen the second lane around the premises to allow traffic to flow better and that has made a huge difference and helps to avoid the massive queues that had been building up recently. The site accepts almost all forms of household waste and the staff are usually friendly and helpful. Another improvement would be for the site to return to 7 day a week opening between April and October. It would also be great if it could be expanded or move to a new larger site but I won't hold my breath on that point.

Disgusting service that we pay for.. they shut gate @3.30pm last night and so my car was loaded by my son I couldn't lift it out the garden waste and they were turning people away. I said I can't because I can't lift it out so they said it will be two hours so I waited nearly to hours. Even though it was in proper garden bags they wouldn't let me leave them. The area manager was there laughing and joking nit doing anything to help apart turn people away while he stood there and smoked ? really I don't think this is a good place to smoke to myself fire hazard around. Area manager should be made to graft. Aparrently they ask for bins by email surely they can pick up the phone and ask them to be emptied early what's the point of being open if ypur not taken plastics and garden waste

Used to be a great tip, but recent introduction of cones blocking one lane can result in having to queue to up just to get OUT of the site after unloading. Probably done to prevent queue jumping I guess. Staff still pleasant and helpful. Clean site.
