I had a minor issue with a stuck oil cap and, on a friend’s recommendation, decided to visit this garage - albeit a little hesitantly. I’d always assumed they catered exclusively to high-end vehicles, and being surrounded by immaculate cars that likely cost more than my house made me feel slightly out of place. But I couldn’t have been more mistaken.

From the moment I arrived, the team was incredibly welcoming. The office staff greeted us warmly (even bringing over a cappuccino!), and a kind mechanic came over straight away. He resolved the issue quickly, topped up my oil, and even handed me the rest of the bottle - refusing to accept any payment.

Despite my car being far less glamorous than those they were working on, both it and I were treated with care and respect. The entire team was friendly, and they genuinely went above and beyond.

Based on today’s experience alone, I’ll definitely be returning. Outstanding service from start to finish.

All at SAS are a brilliant team, real friend and family feel. Workmanship and knowledge levels are as high as they come. For your classic / historic car you won't do better. Dont expect a rush job for a resto because you can't. They'll do you proud and you'll love the result. Best of all they welcome your involvement, discuss options, mods, and you even being part of the work, not on premises of course for insurance reasons, understandable, but if you want to do bits yourself and drop off very welcome. They are a well prepared, knowledgeable and professional service I would recommend to anyone. Brilliant!

Had my C4 Corvette in a few times with SAS and they have gone above and beyond each time. Most recent was for paintwork front and rear, scuffs and bubbling which looked unsightly when viewed close up.
To say these issues were resolved would be an understatment; the whole team took great care and the work done was exceptional. Dean was communicative throughout when needed and was understanding of what was required and came in on budget.
My trust was well placed with SAS and I am already thinking of what can be achieved at the next visit.

I can’t praise this place enough. The workshops and office seem to run like a Swiss watch. They carried out work on my 1938 Rover 12 quickly and efficiently and to a high standard. It really was a good experience entrusting my pre war car to SAS. Thanks guys and gals 👍
