It's our local site so we go there ever time we need to get rid of something that won't go in a bin. The only downside was the road going in being riddled with large holes that could damage your car if you weren't careful. The road has been resurfaced so that's not a problem anymore. Otherwise, helpful staff and almost never a queue. Excellent for what it is

What pleasant and helpful members of staff! I accidentally threw my car keys in with my rubbish at Springvale today and 2 very kind gentlemen helped me retrieve them. Fortunately we could see them, and after much leg-pulling, they had the equipment to fish them out. Thank you gentlemen I truly appreciate your help.

So grateful to have been able to recycle household waste at the centre - a much needed service when clearing a loved one's home after a death in the family. A relief to know that materials are being recycled. Helpful and friendly staff were present to guide and advise us.

Cannot fault the team at Springvale. We needed to clear my mother's house out, which meant a lot of items had to be disposed of - beds, mattresses, tables, 3-piece suite, fridge etc. After what I can only describe as a dismal service from BMBC with conflicting advice and poor web information, I decided the easiest and best option was to visit the recycling centre and ask the staff there.

From the outset they were helpful, friendly, and professional. They gave clear and informative advice in advance about what vans (and items for disposal!) would be allowed on site, and then on the day extremely helpful about which skips should be used for all sorts of household items (they even ensured we could get into the easiest Bay for off-loading the heavier items. These guys were the epitome of helpfulness - served up with bright cheery smiles. Thank you!!

Excellent customer service. Could not fault the staff. Brilliant. I broke down highly inconvenient but they couldn't have been more helpful.
Made me a drink too whilst waiting for AA.

Good as far as a tip goes but the road down to it is almost impassable due to the 2ft deep potholes.
Unless you have a car with good ground clearance get ready for some damage. Bmbc keep putting up council tax please make sure this facility is at least usable!!

Come here on a weekly basis and the guys there are always welcoming and professional... Been to other tips and they're not a patch on this lot....can have a laugh with them too! Keep up the good work guys!!!!
