Very busy, but well organised. Friendly & helpful staff. I visited on a Saturday afternoon around 15:00 and there was a queue of cars right down the street, waiting to get in. Doesn't anyone go to watch football anymore?

Well organised operation that has a great bunch of folks willing to provide help and direction. A broad base of recycling options. Not 5 stars as they no longer take plastic and they direct plastic film food packaging into general waste whereas local supermarkets will gladly recycle. Great opening hours!

Clean, well organised recycling centre. Staff are helpful and polite, and social distancing systems are in place to keep everyone safe. Sometimes queue can be long, in particular at weekends, so if you only have a small amount to drop off, maybe look for alternatives or try midweek. You don't need to book, unless you are a van. So it's much easier to use than other sites.

Queue at the moment but generally pretty quick. They have 3 bays now normally its double this so each car if its 5 minutes trailing back and forwards with one item at a time.. That said I think its one of the best in midlothian.

i had no trouble in the past but the last 2 times i've been up the engine oil tank is full. The staff say it's been like that for ages and the council are not bothered. staff are sound and helpful but the oil disposal needs sorted!
