We were not aware of this antique shop which I can’t believe, having seen how lovely. is. The service is as lovely as the product. We first of all dealt with Jenny who was delightful and then with her daughter Sarah who possibly was even more delightful! Patsy was incredibly helpful as well. All three of them have a clear understanding of the products they are selling and are very happy to engage in conversation about any piece whatsoever. It is worth going, even if you don’t intend to buy anything because I guarantee that by the time you have gone through the multiple rooms something will have caught your eye! A true treasure trove.

We were visiting on vacation from USA, and this store was highly recommended, and we love to antique shop. This hidden gem truly did not disappoint! It has such amazing treasures to be found. I would have likely bought 20 items including furniture if I could have reasonably gotten it all back to the states! While they do assist with shipping, we settled on some great finds that we could fit in our suitcases instead. Not only is the store stocked with amazing and high quality items, it is a family owned and operator business and they were so knowledgeable and wonderful. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. We will see you again the next time we are in Scotland!

I follow Steichen Antiques on Facebook, as they have some lovely antiques on their page. Saw this lovely Mackintosh themed bracelet with an amethyst stone. My daughter’s birth stone is the amethyst and she loves collecting them, so what more could I want as a Xmas present. Great price and once purchased, super fast delivery and excellently wrapped, a pleasure to buy from. Will definitely purchase from them again and visit next time I am in the North East visiting family. Thank you.

Such a lovely store and lovely owners! They went out of their way to show us in detail one of their new pieces that was absolutely stunning. Was really amazed at the range of pieces they had and the price was extremely fair. If you are in the area, it's a must stop to explore. And if you aren't, please go out of your way to visit as they have so many treasures! Can't wait to go back!
