I regularly call in at this shop when spending time with family who live in the town. A good variety of items, of which I usually find something to purchase. Recently, I was served by a gentleman at the till who was so helpful and friendly, an excellent ambassador for your shop and charity. I don’t know his name but he was very dapper.

Yet again the second time going into this shop and had an awful experience with the manager. I think she loves feeling above people, pricing a piece of underwear at £22!!! In a charity shop I told her I thought it was too expensive given it was donated and it is a charity shop I said I wouldn't be purchasing this item, she got extremely aggressive and personal for the whole shop to hear! She's intimidating and a bully , she shouted I should be buying food for my children rather than clothes, a customer stepped in on my behalf asking the manager why she was being so aggressive, I told the manager I didn't want the item and I put it back which I'm entitled to do so, this argument escalated and it forced us to leave, I had my two children with me it was absolutely shocking and disgusting behavior she was extremely passive aggressive. After we left the shop two women who were customers came over to us and told us that she agreed with us and how rude and unprofessional professional she was to the point this customer approached the manager after we left because she was talking about us behind the cashier desk saying "she should have put us on our backs" you have someone like this working in a charity shop that relies on the locals to keep it running. After speaking with many locals about this incident it seems we're not the only ones who have experienced this type of attitude from her. Your Google reviews also mention the issues you have with this member of staff giving you poor ratings. You have lost 4 loyal customers and many more due to one person's lack of ability to represent and respect your business.

This was the retail manager!!!

Sold us a broken washing machine for 170 with a guarantee and are refusing to take it back. Stating over the phone they don't do refunds and our only option it to ring up a different company to get it fixed. We don't want a faulty washing machine. Fancy getting scammed by a charity

Nice shop and welk laid out but pricing is ridiculous i do understand on some items it being higher but on second hand clothes that have been donated is shocking for example a plain pair of joggers f and f from tescos priced at £6 pound considering they are only £8 brand new if sell cheaper u get more custom

Warning to younger people!! Be careful of the big hulk looking woman with tattoos who thinks every person walks into the shop is a thief! She follows you around and then gets on her high horse when you confront her.. she thinks it's OK to think everyone is a thief. Great customer service.. is she a volunteer because she's not worth paying! Avoid if she's working..... used to be a great place to shop.

Lots of stuff here and lots of space. Excellent children's section, all labelled by age and gender which is amazing. Relatively expensive for a charity shop hence 4* review. Staff are friendly
