We ordered oak sleepers for a project we are working on. Were told they would be ready Tuesday morning, so planned the day around installing them. Called to say we would be over to collect but told no one would be there, they would deliver Tuesday evening. Re-scheduled work to install on the Wednesday, the last day on the project but no sleepers turned up and phone calls, texts and emails all ignored. Absolutely terrible way to run a company and would never use again.

Sales and delivery of oak sleepers was very good (hence star). However a number were very poor and sub standard with deep lesions, excessive bark and extensive damage. No response at all to me contacting them on several occasions until I gave up. For this reason, I can't recommend this company and won't be using them again.

Antiquated and obnoxious customer service. Had delivered oak posts and they were left on my paving. It rained and my patio got stained. When challenged on why experienced delivery men left on paving my response form office was below. Verbatim.

"Our delivery guys are just that - they deliver the goods. Once delivered the responsibility lies with the customer/builder/landscaper to move"

So basically our delivery men are morons and it's your job to move a post it took two men to deliver so tough monkey.

Lovely. I'm left with bill and I imagine the delivery guys feeling like under-valued employees.

They also recommended:
"Oxalic Acid or Trisodium Phosphate will remove the stain. Both these products are widely available via the internet.
Suggest you look elsewhere."

Last week I ordered reclaimed granite curbstones. Instead York curb stones were delivered. When informed of this error the owner told me that he had not checked this delivery Before it went out from his yard. In addition the picture of reclaimed granite curb stores on the company’s website is a generic picture and did not represent the goods. The owner did not offer compensation or to take the York stones back. Given this level of service I can not recommend this company to other customers.
