Syrus Waste

Spoke to the lady on the phone about what size skip I would need as I didn't have a clue, she was very helpful. When I ordered the skip for delivery she advised me that the collection would take around 10 working days unless I wished to prebook the date, as I wasn't in a hurry I didn't mind the wait so I called when I was ready. The office staff and the drivers were very polite and helpful. I will definitely be using them again

Only put one star because no stars isn’t an option. Called Tuesday last week to order a skip, was told it was booked in and would be delivered between 10-11 on Thursday. Waited in for it, half 11 came with a no show, called the company to be told they were having issues with the machine that empties the skips so there was a delay, to call back at 4pm for an update. Was told just prior to 4pm it would be delivered Friday. Friday came and they said they were waiting on a welder and that it would be Monday before it was delivered. Partner called this morning (Monday) to be told it would be just after 11. I called at 12pm to be told they were waiting on a part but had no ETA. My partner phoned literally 5 minutes later to be told they had received an ETA and that it would be delivered after 2pm. 3pm comes, still no sign of the skip, called and was told they were having trouble installing the part and to call back at 4:30, which funnily enough turned out to be 30 minutes after they close. If you’re after a decent service I’d go elsewhere because all they do is keep you waiting, the only thing they seem to be good at is making excuses!!

I have been waiting for collection of my skip for 8 weeks. I call every day and they say it will be collected the next. However, it is still sat on my drive. An awful company. When I told the lady on the phone how I could not continue with my renovation as I need another skip she laughed. DO NOT GET A SKIP FROM HERE

Ordered a skip & turned up on the date agreed by a lovely gentleman, we even got given a free box of chocolates as it was mother’s day! Called to say it was ready for collection and they collected promptly. Will definitely be using Syrus again!?

Awful service. Will use your drive as storage for the skip. Took over 3 weeks to pick up the skip and just kept giving different excuses like drivers ill, had an accident, very busy. Got told that they could not tell us what day it would be picked up, just that they would turn up at some point. Would not recommend. Drivers are wonderful and polite and friendly though, company is not

Syrus is just Blitz skips rebranded. They do not collect skips when they’re full. We’ve been waiting 8 weeks, calling constantly and the skip is still on our drive. I can’t recommend that anyone uses this skip company.

Rubbish company avoid at all costs take your money on delivery then do not collect for months .the best way to get them to collect is to order another skip the once they lift the old skip into the new one tell the driver you do not want it

My second time using Syrus. Helpful staff, arrived on time and collected on time, drivers were lovely to deal with ⭐️
