Very rude, asked about scrap and the lady receptionist started to laugh then passed the phone to an even ruder person. They hung up, not professional at all.

Although access to this site is tight, it was not busy when I called at 4pm to unload a variety of different scrap metals totalling about 200kg. Staff were very accomodating, helpful and patient, making the unloading and weighing operation a dream, at this quieter time of the day. The prices paid are better than those of a major competitor in the area, who has better site access but in my perception less accomodating staff. Tommy Holmes therefore continues to be my first choice when I have a variety of scrap metals to dispose of.

Good, no nonsense Yorkshire scrap merchant. Avoid busy times to save yourself the glare of the 'professionals'. I've used them a few times. Prices always fair.
