Discovered this tiny tyre vendor by accident when I had a puncture in the vicinity of this repair stall. The young lady was pleasant and advised the price which though a little pricey very good for a small trader, sadly however I had to wait three days! For the fitting, something that I hadn’t expected even for a such an establishment, however I was unable to argue with a burst tyre. Three days later I collected my vehicle and was helped by a gentleman whom I believe fitted the tyre and was told that the quoted price was in fact excluding VAT. Not so cheap after all and an additional surcharge to dispose of the old tyre, that was a first! Being over a barrel I proffered a card and paid.
Imagine my surprise when, several days later, I was checking the receipt to discover that I had been actually charged the quoted price and all done without a word. Teviot Tyres went well up in my estimation and I told many of this quite good service.
Almost immediately calamity struck my vehicle again with another burst tyre! Even though I knew that this time I would have to pay the exorbitant cost I felt that the quietly given service demanded my patronage and I returned.
Again I met the gentleman who very politely assisted, about to leave when the girl arrived at the premises with an unbelievable vitriol directed to myself finishing with being told to leave as she would not allow me to avail myself of their services.
Needless to say my car, with it’s wrecked tyre hobbled away to a nearby competitor, who charged, for the same tyre and work and no surprise disposal fee, almost the same price and INC VAT. also, all on the same day win win 😁.

Needed a change of tyre but didn't want to go to Gala to a main stream company, so noticed Teviot Tyres was open and John managed to change my tyre within 20 minutes on a Saturday morning without any notice . So much appreciated and friendly service would definitely used this garage again . Thanks again .

Got a puncture near Hawick, in our BMW x5, we didn"t know where to get help ,but luckily for us the owners son at Teviot tyres kindly helped us to change our tyre for us, which got us home safely ,as we had children in the car. I went back and the owner fixed our punctured tyre, at a very cheap price, we cant thank them enough,, top class service, would recommend this garage as a hidden gem, very friendly service and value for money ,i would give 6 stars if i could.
