Ok, so it was my first day volunteering with Highbury College. There were 5 students and 3 mentors. Wr arrived at the Acorn Community Centre and we're going to cook for 30 senior citizens. Cottage pie with vegetables and apple strudel for pudding. It all went well, and the customers enjoyed the food. The centre is a friendly helpful place and the staff are amazing. Thank you for being part of my day and making a difference to the students by supporting them with what you do.

Some of the staff are friendly and will speak, cannot get a breakfast before 11am on a Friday if students are not in, and you can only ge breakfast between 9.30am & 11.00am. Will not be using the acorn centre again.

Took my father to get his eyes tested. He had the drops and was told to sit and wait. After watching 3 other patients go in before him, he asked the chap checking the eyes what was going on, to be told he didn't have his notes. Total joke of a place sadly.
