Nice village, nice pub. Not so many people that day.
Mushroom stroganoff with rice tasty, a lot of mushrooms. Caesar salad with chicken ok. £50 with drinks Amstel and rose wine spritzer
Pub and village mentioned in one of the episodes of Escape to the Country.
Nice walks around. We spent 4 hours for circular walk through the fields with lovely views. Nice area.

Stopped here for a light lunch after a nice long walk around the village/area during my stay.
The staff were lovely and so was the food.
As it was a nice day I chose to sit outside to eat lunch, and enjoy the view across the green and up to the church.
Great to see the Dr Who memorabilia and the Easy Company info on the walls inside too. I would definitely stop here for a meal again if i'm in the area.

Great village pub with buckets of history and a brilliant atmosphere. Always stop by here if I’m travelling through Aldbourne. It couldn’t have a more picturesque setting if it tried. Very traditional inside which is fantastic, you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely and friendly staff and customers. Lovely atmosphere only reason didn't score the food is unfortunately never had opportunity to eat as the kitchen had a fire.

Great traditional pub that serves good food, have a kids club on a Friday. Their front garden is west -facing and you can sit out on the green if there are no tables available.
