The Motorist Centre

My pedal fell apart on a ride, and tried 2 other bike shops who couldn't fix it. Last call was the Motorist centre in Ely, and the bike mechanic there did a fabulous job at fixing it. He called it "bodging"...I would say it was thanks to his years of experience and skill that he was able to sort it (using his stash of bike bits and tools). My pedal didn't just get me home, but withstood a week cycling the Rebellion Way and is still working fine. Much appreciated being able to complete my cycling holiday. Thanks so much.

Had a simple bicycle fix that was not charged for, which was very kind and helpful. Chris was patient and knowledgeable. Great place to get your bike repaired in Ely, Cambs.

Not at all obvious, but there is an expert cycle mechanic based in this shop! Came in needing some help before a long tour, and after a bit of head scratching, he solved the problem perfectly! Thank you so much!

a spare parts store. If you need it urgently, it's just right.. .but very expensive ..it is much cheaper to buy on ebay with 2-3 days delivery. if not identical, Aliexpress is x5 times cheaper

Always use the motorist centre for all my parts, friendly and knowledgeable staff, always willing to go the extra mile to get what you need.

Highly recommend these guys. Very helpful over the phone helping us with issues with our roof bars, which Halfords sold us the wrong parts! Went into Motorist Centre Ely shop, the guys very helpful and very reasonable price. will definitely be using again. Thanks guys
