Amazing breakfast service with Molly and the team. Great food, fun atmosphere. The bar is filled with lots of drink and knowledge! Staff are very fun. Molly and Cameron really stood out as making the tobermory hotel a great atmosphere.

A cosy gem with a brilliant bar – don’t miss the whisky flight!

We didn’t stay overnight, but we stopped in at the bar for a couple of drinks – and we’re so glad we did. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who clearly know their stuff, especially when it comes to whisky.

If you visit, make sure to ask about the Whisky Flight – it’s not on the menu, but it’s absolutely worth it. A fantastic way to sample a selection of local drams with some expert guidance (and good chat!) along the way.

The bar itself is cosy, with a lovely mix of locals and visitors, and it feels like the kind of place you could happily settle into for an hour or two. Great drinks, great service, and a genuinely inviting place to unwind.

Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Tobermory.

Such a fantastic hotel. Super accommodating and friendly staff. Hotel rooms super clean and fresh and made us want to laze about all afternoon! Beds so comfortable and bathroom so clean. Great recommendations and felt very comfortable here which is often difficult when you only have a 2 night stay. Thank you for a lovely home from home feel stay.

I was a bit concerned after reading some less than enthusiastic reviews of this hotel with pub. I stayed there last night and couldn't disagree more. The strongest criticism I have is that there was no washcloth. Otherwise, a quite smart and well-appointed room as large as the Marriotts in Edinburgh and Glasgow, modern bathroom, and a glorious pub/restaurant with delicious hot food, enthusiastic service, and low-volume music that accommodated pleasant conversation. Will, the manager, was clever and welcoming. Quite an enjoyable and restful overnight. Highly recommended.

Cute hotel, not clean. We stayed for one night and, while the hotel is cute and somewhat updated with a nice pub and kind staff, it is unfortunately not kept clean enough. Our room clearly hasn’t been vacuumed and the decorative pillows and shams were literally shedding dirt and lint on to the bedding. Would not stay again unfortunately, thought the location is great and people very nice.

Fantastic hotel in a really great location. Beautiful rooms, great staff - Sophie was really kind and helpful throughout our stay - delicious food. Would highly recommend and hope to come again in the future.

Restaurant review: My husband said the pork burger he had was like nothing he's had before and up there with the best burger he's ever had. He eats a lot of burgers and is quite critical so that's high praise indeed. Open on Mondays when almost everything else in town is closed for dinner, place packed with both locals and tourists and after dining here it's obvious why - great food, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service without being overdone. Recommend booking (although they were good enough to squeeze us in without a reservation on the night we dined). The next night we decided to try somewhere different and regretted our decision after an expensive meal with disappointing food and unfriendly service. Just eat here.
