Had 4 tyres fitted through black circles. First time using this garage and definitely won’t be the last! The process was fast and efficient. The staff interactions during my visit were friendly and professional at all times. I would definitely recommend this garage to family and friends.

Just picked my car up which was in for a front coil spring diagnosed by me a mechanic. I dropped of last week. They called with with quote for job. They quoted 1.9 hours for work on there system. Which is a about right, but then the girl on the phone instantly bumped it up to 2.5 hours for no reason. When i picked it up saw the bill i asked about the extra labour costs. The women said it because my car was a 2003 a3 and bits were seized. Well this suprised me as mine is a 2011 and nothing would of seized on it. So before they had even stripped the job down the cost was already there. There labour costs are way to expensive nearly £80 an hour. Some dealerships charge less. I also mailed them to ask to put some info on invoice so i can claim. Thus was ignored. Tgey said they had not recieved mail. They also called me on the Monday to try and say that my gas strut needed to be replaced which would have taken the bill to £371. The car has just passed an MOT and theres nothing wrong with gas strut. So if your thinking of using them get other quotes first. I had no option at the time as i needed to get the car in close to me. I will not be using them again. Overpriced and quite happy to try and mug people off.

Had to call in at this garage to get a puncture repair . The team there were super helpful. Nice clean tidy place. Super efficient. Fantastic hospitality. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you.

I spent £1350 with them, they put a new clutch in & did a M.O.T . . (on my Van) it took them 9 days ? they got it through though . . but when i left, it seemed like the handbrake was on ? my brakes were getting red hot (on the new disks they put on, so i took it back to them they checked it and said it was ok ? i drove off with the same problem, so i took it back the next day trusted them & they said the same thing . . ? though i still had that problem ? this time i took it back and went into the garage & proved the point, by spinning each wheel on the ramp, each wheel made a grinding noise, because the handbrake was on to tight, (it only went only went up 2 clicks?) the chap i shower this too just shook his head turned around & walked away ? THEY DONT CARE. bewildered by this ! I when home got under the Van & did it myself, (unscrewed the nut on a bolt) Thats all it was, (now the handbrake goes up 4/5 click and its tight . . (not hard a hell at 2 clicks?) The best of it is, I told them the first time i saw them, when i had the handbrake problem, that i was doing 2-300 miles a day ? they almost burnt the new disk out that they put on! + New pads ? i showed them a video of me sprayed wd40 on the wheel after driving 10 miles without using the brakes (on a flat restricted speed road) white smoke bellowing off the wheels / disks, it also broke the new brake caliper they put on, a few weeks Later i hear a whining noise, it seemed to be the front driveshaft, Though later was found to be the Gearbox ? the new clutch they put in, was Misaligned . . . Thats what a Family run garage said & he sent me Pictures . . . .I did take them to court though had a family crisis so could attend the second hearing, it cost me £1200 to buy a re-con Gearbox . then another £400 to put it in ? the mis-aligned clutch broke the Gearbox. Thats the verdict by the Family run Garage. I have picture proof of there mistakes . . Personally i dont think there Qualified ? Possibly time served at best . . at this Place you dont get what you've payed for - YOU GET RIPPED OF COMPLETELY. AVOID...

Thanks again to all at Thorpe Garage for fitting my car in for repair at short notice and keeping me updated about the cost throughout. This was very much appreciated and you provide a great service. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

My car needed some MOT repairs that my main garage couldn't fix due to being understaffed. Thorpe Lane got me in 3 days later, suggested I paid a bit extra for genuine suspension arm pins as they're quicker and easier to fit but the rear anti-roll linkage could be aftermarket just to save money. They also fixed my front indicator as that stopped working 2 days before due to water getting in the headlamp and causing issues with the wiring - something my main garage didn't notice when I asked them to look into it.

I needed the car back by 4pm, but they weren't sure if it was possible due to other work, so I dropped it in at 7:30 and they had it finished an hour before collection.

I would not recommend!
I took my car in for a diagnostic and their plug in machine did not pick up that all four cylinders were misfiring. They sent my car back to me without looking at anything else as they ‘didn’t have time’ even though there was clearly an issue (I booked my car in weeks in advance) and charged me for the diagnostic. I had to take my car to another mechanic for a second opinion to find out about the misfires and then have it fixed. The lead mechanic was quite rude/abrasive to me over the phone when I asked to be refunded as their diagnostic results were faulty/incorrect and they have been no help to me.
The mechanics will take your money and not actually help you if anything goes wrong.

The lady who runs the reception is nice though so at least there’s that.
