Been told the “post office is closed, will open again tomorrow; until 21:45” seems to be their favourite saying. All I want to do is collect a packet! Surely training is key, more staff needed that will aim to keep the PO open for those that have a 9 to 5 job!

Walked in at 1:30 PM the young lad said the Post Office till is closed for another 15-20min for a break. Understandable, I said ok, will come back later and thanked the lad. Came back 45m later, his middle aged lady colleague was very annoyed by me coming in and asking whether the post office till was open now, she replied “No. No it’s not open.” I asked when will it be open, and she says another at least 15 minutes. I said ok no problem. Came back another 20m later, she gives me the attitude for no reason and looks and treats me like I came to her house uninvited.. Smiled at her and wished her a lovely day 😀 “amazing” service.

Looks like its all change at the Tiptree Post Office / McColls / Morrisons Daily. This review is for the Post Office only. The Post Office counters at the end of the store now seem permanently closed (been in twice recently). There is a small counter with Post Office sign next to the McColls/Morrisons Daily counter near the entrance door. It certainly is more difficult to queue up and no longer sure what post office services they offer or when the post office counter is open. I guess the Post Office side of things is one step away from permanent closure.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Firstly, as I walked in the middle aged lady who was working in the shop took a good 5 minutes to acknowledge me and come over to the tillpoint. Secondly, she had the most disgusting attitude i have ever seen on any customer service representative. She was so rude, had the audacity to say “the position is closed can’t you see?” Then she said that she isn’t trained properly and can’t put money into bank accounts. When I said “oh that’s inconvenient” in a smiley way she prooceded to walk away smirking and shout saying “NO NOT REALLY, WE ARE POST OFFICE WE GIVE GOOD SERVICE” which I found so confusing as she just didn’t make sense. She clearly was racist and thought she can pick an argument with someone to make her day better. I don’t know what generation she still lives in but this is absolutely unacceptable. She has made me (a pregnant woman) very annoyed for absolutely no reason. I will be taking this further. I understand she may not know how to do this but I don’t understand why she is even working in a post office if she is not willing to be educated on how to deposit money onto a card? Quite pointless really! How long could you go on without getting trained and getting mad at customers because you want to be lazy?!

I've made the trip out to the post office on multiple occasions only to find that it's closed. It's so frustrating. It's fine if you can't open 7am-7pm but PLEASE update your hours online as it's very misleading. I almost don't want to bother next time and will drive to the next nearest post office which I know will be open.

Been up on 3 different days. Was told it was closed as they don't have staff trained to do that. Tiptree is growing bigger and bigger so makes perfect sence to make post office as small as they possibly can....

I’d give a 0 review if possible! Very rude ladies behind counter. Very poor customer service. Won’t use them again!!
