Traynors scrap yard in Grantham, has amazing costumer services. The people there are really helpful when assisting you with what you are looking for. I went in needing help with a specific part and I couldn’t quite explain it properly. The guy at the desk was very patient with me and together we figured it out. All in all I had a nice experience and came away happy.

Arranging to film at Traynors was very easy thanks to Danny and his team's cooperation. We had helpful interaction with them, who kindly showed us the place and where we could safely work. I would recommend anyone visit for car parts or video purposes.

Traynors of Grantham are a great place to get your second hand parts for your older cars. The sub frame I wanted for a Corsa was taken off the donor vehicle and was ready for me to pick up within the hour. Great lads to deal with.

We hit a pot hole on gorse lane earlier today, after ringing numerous people, and very expensive prices, we had these recommended to us, we rang and a gent came out in a van, took our tyre and rim sorted it, and brought 1 back within half an hour. All for only £25 highly recommend them. Thank you guys from a very appreciative family. To everyone be very careful down gorse lane lots and lots of pot holes, the one we hit was really big... ?

It's an auto scrap yard you can look around and take parts you need off vehicles yourself you will need your own tools and a basic safety knowledge is essential as there are forklifts operating and sharp metal hazards etc so ppe and a high vis is a must. It's a fair price place and staff are helpful.

Got quoted £1400 for parts alone by a Kia main dealer to fix something on my daughter’s 2008 Sorrento. They said (inevitably) the ‘whole thing’ needed replaced. Bought just the control panel (which was what was broken - a knob had come off...) from Traynors, arrived a couple of days later, £55 including delivery, nicely boxed, clean and complete, just as per photo and description, and it took 15 minutes to fit with a pen knife and a screwdriver. Result. Hope they stay in business forever! You never know when you need a supplier like this...

I bought a Bmw advertised as starting and driving for loading purposes, only bonnet, front bumper, n/s headlight although the other one was also smashed, to make it short only body panels. Driver went to pick car up and it needed to be loaded up with a forklift because although it was starting it couldn’t even idle for 10 seconds, when it arrived we had to push it off the recovery truck. All radiators were smashed, no running belts, thermostat on water pump was smashed and the pulley on water pump not there either. When contacted they just said those were minor things, but to me if this details were made available in the advert I would not have bid on the car at all. They don’t even deserve a star, awful, cheating and misleading with their auctions, so be careful.

Not All About Me has obviously either shopped somewhere else or is simply trying to do damage! This yard is helpful in the extreme. The other half had the Turbo on her Kia blow up, so we phoned Traynors and yes they had one, got it over from Ireland next day. We wet up picked up part, wrong turbo. They were so apologetic, it was a choice of two and they shipped over the newer one, they would get the other one over from Ireland next day. And lo it happened, the correct part was sent over, parts were exchanged without problem, superb service!
