I’ve had a lot of carpet uplifts and laminate flooring as a senior citizen would have found it very difficult to offload from my car I can only thank the staff for their help great job lads

Very helpful staff who have a difficult job especially during lockdown rules. They are doing the best they can. They deserve the highest of praise for doing a filthy job. Some members of the public think the staff are there to empty their cars! The traffic queues at the moment are very lengthy owing to the volume of users, traffic light sysyem and the jams and hold ups on the industrial estate. Expect 1.25 hours wait at busy times.

If Carlsberg did recycling centres this would be it. I use Tudhoe recycling centre half a dozen times a year and I’m always impressed how well run and tidy this facility is. The staff are friendly and helpful and never stop working. I’ve also never seen a JCB handled more expertly than the blonde lad who operates it.
