Just wanted to commend UCRRA and the staff at the Kingston transfer station. I am a residential customer in Ulster County and it was my first visit to the facility in a long time. Everyone there was respectful and helpful in guiding me through getting rid of several vans full of garbage. In dealing with the e-waste and hazardous household waste events, all the staff have been helpful and efficient. The instructions on this website are also extremely helpful with waste material and recycling.
I appreciate the services you provide and the staff for their helpfulness and friendly disposition!

I would have given this place 5 Stars in the past but, since David has left this place I see a rapid decline. He was always helpful and kind to me and the other customers that I have witness. The people that have replaced him are incompetent, they do try but they lack the skill of managing people. A wait that once was no more than 5 minutes now can last up to 30 minutes. It's a shame, I know it's only trash we are leaving but, at least he tried to put a smile on our faces. Thank you David, you are missed by a lot of customers!!!

Some if the most obstinately unhelpful and uneducated employees I've ever had the misfortune of having to interact with. Some certainly seemed capable of doing their jobs, but others, whose jobs seemed to amount to little more than "pick up object, put down object" seemed fully underqualified.

I went early in the morning. The guy very helpful and the girl at the front was cheery and friendly. I can't say that it is like that all day, but I had a good experience
