Poor service and terrible lack of communication. We waited for nearly an hour for someone to help us but gave up in the end. Very frustrating experience, definitely won’t be using this company again

SIMS was the cheaper of two places suggested by Devon Council for disposal of my Beko mini fridge with Ammonia (NH3) refrigerant. The depot is set out for big lorries and there is a checking in/checking out process that can take time if the place is busy. Everyone is very helpful. My advice is ring ahead check when the office is open and when they expect to be busy. I arrived at 3pm and it was very quiet and quick. On arrival you need to get your car onto the weighbridge (left-hand gate) and walk up to the office up on your right. If you're still reading, let me mention the little fridge, £84 to dispose of it, not SIMS fault but hefty HSE charges – so that's why people fly-tip, I get it.

Opened at 8am for deliveries and collections. Great staff and really efficient.
Note to drivers!
The main weighbridge is out of order at the moment. Use the smaller one to the left.
