Recently returned back to simms after many years. It has changed for the better. The weigh bridge team now are professional, helpful, and very friendly. On my 1st trip they went through safety and provided a map so I knew where to go. Especially the young lady, I think her name is vicky. The prices for frag feed are excellent. This merchant is most competitive for the region. My opinion is that you will struggle to beat their price. Ideal if you are doing a mixed load.. Definitely worth a try. They say the grass is is greener on the other side! Believe you me it is. Go there and see for your self. After you go if you disagree post your experience!

what a shower of idiots been here 3 hours just to tip. Banksman tells me management want frag feed with washers in round back. Why frag feed is frag feed. no wounder sims uk is up for sale when they have idiot management coming out with ideas like that a absolute joke sims is. Management pen pushing idiots need sacking for this 3 hours waiting in Manchester and 3 hours at Nottingham. Sims need to just close down. They are not a patch on EMR. Emr are brilliant straight in and out

A driver came into my lane and I nearly crashed into the back of him. Sticks his fingers up at me saying its a 40. So he deliberately veered into my lane to teach me a lesson. I complained, called and went into the site. No call back. Number plate EX68 _NP

It chaos around this company in a morning. Boots own drivers and supplier drivers are held up and it is ticking on the tacho. Reported to police and dvsa but no action is ever taken. It has taken a fire to alert the problem!!

Called today as I have some metal that I need to clear from site. Spoke to a Catherine who I have to say was one of the most unhelpful people I have ever spoken to. Amount to collect apparently needs to be over 2 tonnes. Fine, If its less I will pay the difference to cover the haulage charge? Yes said Catherine, but it means I will have to open an account and raise a pro forma invoice. Apparently opening an account and answering questions and raising a pro forma invoice was too much trouble and genuinely seemed relieved when I said I would go elsewhere.
For a well respected and well known global company I was gobsmacked. As a director of a steel building company I will avoid and make a point of telling others.

Booking times mean nothing at all. Can be sat outside for hours then when you do finally get called in its complete chaos. Quite possibly the worst place I have ever delivered/collected from
