This morning 13/2/25 I was travelling with my 7 year old daughter in our car minding our own business. We came to a stop when a unity recovery truck was stationed in the middle of the road. We sat 20 meters away from him. He stood in the middle of the road and proceeded to stare and me and my daughter in a very intimidating way (there were no other cars behind me) The drivers description, old guy wearing a confederate style cowboy hat, probably a creedance clearwatee revival fan. Then proceeded to shout at me turn around, again in a very rude way. I got out of my car and asked what the problem was, i also told him to carry on doing his job, He said he will take even longer to load the car, hoping to get a reaction out of me. Bear in mind at this point I hadn't used my horn or any gesture which would have angered him in any way. This company has a contract with Leicestershire Police and are expected to act in a professional manner whilst working. This guy was obviously having a bad morning.

I have the whole thing on my cctv dash cam, which i will forward to the police so they can see for themselves that Unity staff go around causing unnecessary trouble with innocent road users. This particular driver is going to do this again, his character was as such, I bet then he will play a victim. So just refer back to this review if you ever have an issue with this company.

Had my car recovered to garage after getting stranded in recent floods in Frisby. While Unity understandably couldn't reach me last night, I was picked up today by Dave today. Rude, aggressive drivers, zero acknowledgement or support from head office. Driver unknowingly tailgates their own customers on road (recovery vehicle reg 3TOW). Utter cowboys, just avoid at all costs.

A lovely young man came and rescued me off the side of a high speed road, just in time to stop an impending panic attack. He explained everything clearly to me and was very professional. He recovered me to a garage and during the journey our conversation was intelligent, humorous and lifted me out of my state of panic. On arrival to the garage he once again explained the process and what happens next, and was very respectful and courteous throughout. Very much a credit to Unity Recovery and I’m grateful for your service.

Had my car stolen, found by the police and recovered to Unity.The thieves ran and left the front windows open on a 72 plate car just before we had heavy rains. Credit to the staff at unity they had all openings covered up and vehicle made watertight till they had access to my keys to secure it .Top quality service.Thank you .👍🏿
