Convenient location at Inverkeithing just off M90, well organised, barrows available for the heavy stuff. Most vehicles lifted on old wheels for good access. Allow some time to find your vehicle and Hi-Vis vest and sturdy footwear required (boots a good idea). I emailed in beforehand to check that what I needed was there - prompt and helpful reply. Thanks guys.

Placed a request online over the weekend, phoned up on Monday to follow up, was told by the staff member who sounded like he cba helping that as it was online I would need to wait and they would get back to me. Wednesday now and still heard SFA. Ordered the part from eBay instead. So much for supporting local businesses

Used too be a great place to get your car parts but now some of the prices are the same price as buying new parts and maybe they should stop posting most off the cars on their website showing the car is whole when it is half stripped they tell you it is first come first served when clearly that is not true when you see all the cars in the yard with the foreign peoples name marked on them then you look at the cars up the back behind the fence and most off them are marked with the foreigners name on them so basically it is not first come first served because the cars are stripped before even reaching the yard.

Love it, coming here, you never really know if youre goni get what you're looking for, but I always have, and at very reasonable prices. I also like wandering round looking at all the cars..
It's a shame though, that there is only this scrap parts dealership, when years ago, especially around Kirkcaldy there were loads and a scrappys was just that, now the rest don't seem to bother about spate parts they just want ur car, squish it and send it abroad somewhere probably...
Some of us can't afford new parts and u pull it let's us find affordable replacements, 10/10

Rude ignorant folk in office, jumped up clowns. Guys you work in a scrap yard, any div could land a job there, change the attitude mugs . The public pay your wages. Enjoy minimum wage clowns

Great place, you can walk in with tools and take what you need and get a price on the way out, all very reasonable, I managed to get 2 wheel trims which were great £5:50 for 2. Great staff and I will return, plenty cars and choice for bits.

What a great stock of vehicles they have. Their online list of them is accurate, but what's left on each one may need to be verified.
The staff were great, there's a big car park, they supplied a wheeled basket to carry your tools & parts removed. And we were lucky that the weather stayed dry.
Was it worth it?
We did a 2 hour round trip to get a wing mirror assembly. It was worth it, but only just against travel, my tools, my removal time, searching for the right car, and cost charged for the parts. I guess it depends on the cost difference between buying new and those costs I mentioned, and how many parts you are able to salvage. The more parts you get the better for you, and for "U pull it".

Staff all very friendly, I bought some seats I wasn't planning on getting and they let me swap them out on my car in the car park and leave the old ones in the yard.

Prices were good, and the yard is well laid out and organised.

One thing they could consider is tool rental: one part I wanted was on a 12 point nut and needed a windy gun ideally... I'd have paid to borrow one! ?

Oh, one last thing: remember exact change for your entry, a pound coin each.
