Couple months ago called multiple times for days and they never pick up the phone. Ended up going there and spending over an hour to get an emergency appointment for my partner and there were two receptionists sitting there. Mentioned that I've been calling and no one was picking up, didn't receive an apology or an explanation. Seems like they are ignoring calls on purpose. Tried calling them today to cancel appointment, but again, no answer.

I've just had another appointment with Sarah Diamond and her nurse. Sarah is still amazingly great at calming nerves and relaxing me and excellent in advising and explaining it all. Very professional too. Her nurse today was wonderful, made me very comfortable through all the work she was doing. Really grateful.

Last review was when I was saying Sarah Diamond and her nurse Soni were great at making me feel at ease, they made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I've had a few appointments with Sarah Diamond, and each time she's so informative and helpful and caring for my comfort, and does such a great clean, that I actually look forward to seeing her which is amazing with my nerves!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at my most recent appointment. I’ve been a regular patient for some time, but after this visit, I will be reconsidering that.

During what was supposed to be a routine check-up to assess the health of my teeth and gums, I was subjected to forceful sales tactics for an unnecessary and expensive cosmetic procedure—Invisalign. Despite having previously made it clear that I am content with my teeth and not interested in the treatment, my dentist attempted to pressure me into reconsidering, making statements such as:
• “You don’t need it physically, but cosmetically, it will elevate your whole look and smile.”
• “Your smile is the first thing people see when they look at you.”
• “It will make such a difference to you.” Etc

They even went so far as to show me before-and-after photos, reinforcing the idea that my natural, healthy teeth weren’t good enough.

At no point in my history of dental care—whether with previous dentists or orthodontists—has anyone ever suggested that I need my teeth straightened. That makes it all the more appalling that, rather than focusing on my actual dental health, this practice saw an opportunity to pressure a young woman into an expensive and purely cosmetic treatment I neither wanted nor need.

This experience left me feeling deeply uncomfortable, insecure and frankly, it raises serious ethical concerns. Dental professionals should prioritise patient health, not exploit appointments as sales opportunities for costly procedures. I expect better!

I have a very bad infection under my wisdom tooth . I am in a lot of pain . I rang for an appointment I couldn’t get one until Monday the very kind receptionist whose name was alicia said if she got a cancellation she would call me . I received a phone call as they had a cancellation I was so pleased as I am in a lot of pain and discomfort . The receptionist was very polite and friendly . I saw the dentist Sarah and she was lovely I have a huge fear of dentists and usually put it off until I really need to go . The assistant an dentist put me at ease . I didn’t go to the dentist for years and then a friend recommended valley drive and they have always been so understanding of my fear and put me at ease I would never go anywhere else. I would like to thank them and would recommend them to my friends and family .

Contacted the practice by phone explaining severe toothache is present, the friendly receptionist Alicia was kind enough to call me back within an hour to invite me to come in the SAME day for an assessment. Instant x-ray and antibiotics given by the dentist, clean friendly and professional. Very good indeed. Not a fan of that putty stuff that makes tooth impressions much lol!
Fantastic, been with them for years and many more to come. Well done to the team.

Just experienced my second appalling experience at this surgery. Rude unsympathetic staff and seemingly incompetent dentists. The receptionist dishes out advise she is not qualified to give. A dentist who did not have time to remove a tooth...despite me saying at the time of booking I thought it may need to come out. Happy to try and leave me for 3 weeks in excruciating pain before appointment would be available. Mis - prescribed painkillers that they are not allowed to offer...an utter shambles. I have had to resort to using a private emergency dentist today which was excellent but costly. There were 2 decent dentists at Valley Drive...one has retired and the other is impossible to see. Others may have had a better experience but their ability to deliver a good service is not consistent. Avoid at all costs..I will be in the future.
I would give no stars if it would allow you to.

My Dentist Sarita made my experience comfortable she explain things to me and I felt at ease. Her assistant A wonderful Polish lady was just as helpful and wonderful to me. I just wanna thank Vally Drive dental surgery even the ladies that take phone calls and clean and sterilise the place are wonderful friendly ladies and I wouldn’t want to go to another surgery. I don’t think people give them enough credit for working as hard as they do.

Great that I was able to get a cancellation appointment, quick thinking receptionist.
Could not make the stairs anymore, so she booked me downstairs for future.
The dentist at the time and her assistant were very obliging and I have re-booked.
The new upgrade inside the building is outstanding.
