My review is not about the staff or the dump itself, both of which are fine and do a very useful job. My complaint is that you can no longer phone them and ask advice about waste. I tried ringing the "primary number" several times this morning and was told it was not recognised. The alternative number gave me an ai muppet that couldn't understand four different versions of my query and specifically the exotic word "paint" Get a person on the other end of that phone again please.

Since they put the massive high bins it’s a nightmare for women or people who don’t have the strength to climb up and done stairs to dump their rubbish

On busy days, be prepared to queue, but it does move quickly. I've been here a few times now and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

I could dispose of my rubbish there which is great. It did smell of waste generally , but I don't mind that ,however I can understand some may find that unpleasant. All staff were wearing fluorescent clothing which helped in my understanding of who was who .
Worth a visit.

Very efficient and organised. The staff are on top of things! I just want to say a huge thank-you to the older Gentleman who works there. He was busy cleaning around the skips and was so very helpful on two occasions. I don't know your name sir, but thank-you. Great service.

They’ve changed the rules on black bag DIY waste since 1st Jan 2024- only 2 allowed per week now or it’s chargeable. They’re quite polite and nice though. You can also use Beckenham.
